Yes. All flights arranged by Astraios Aviation are operated by fully licensed air carriers that meet international aviation standards. All pilots are certified, experienced, and regularly trained according to EASA or equivalent safety regulations.
Yes, flight operations are always subject to weather conditions and controlled airspace regulations. In case of severe weather or temporary restrictions, we will proactively suggest alternatives or rebookings.
For safety and legal compliance, the following items are prohibited or restricted:
– Dangerous goods (e.g., flammable liquids, explosives, corrosive substances)
– Unauthorized weapons or firearms (unless declared and approved)
– Electronic devices that cannot be switched to flight mode
– Laser pointers, drones (without prior declaration), or jamming devices
– Any behavior that disrupts flight crew operations or compromises onboard safety
The crew has full authority to enforce safety protocols, and all passengers must follow crew instructions at all times.
We recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance for best aircraft availability. However, we also handle urgent requests and last-minute bookings – sometimes within just a few hours, depending on aircraft and crew availability.
To confirm your flight, we require passenger names as per passport, preferred date and time, departure and destination locations, and any special requests (e.g. catering, ground transfers, pets, luggage). A signed agreement and payment are also needed before flight confirmation.
Yes, but cancellation and rescheduling policies vary depending on the operator and timing. We will always inform you of the conditions before booking and try to offer flexible solutions where possible.
Absolutely. We arrange one-way, round-trip, sightseeing, and complex multi-leg itineraries, including overnight waiting, day returns, or multiple destinations.
Luggage capacity depends on the aircraft type. Light jets and helicopters have limited space, while midsize and heavy jets can accommodate larger volumes. We’ll advise you on what’s possible based on your group size and chosen aircraft.
Yes, but these must be confirmed in advance. We can usually accommodate skis, golf bags, music equipment, and similar items with proper notification. If needed, we’ll recommend an aircraft with appropriate cargo space.
While private aviation is flexible, each aircraft has weight and balance restrictions. Our team will guide you to ensure your luggage meets safety and capacity limits.
Absolutely. All luggage is loaded directly at the aircraft under the supervision of ground staff. There’s no risk of lost baggage, and no baggage claims – everything travels with you.
No. Private flights use VIP terminals or general aviation facilities, with simplified procedures. You avoid long lines, and security screening is discreet, fast, and handled privately.
We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before your scheduled departure. Some heliports may even allow shorter lead times. You will receive exact timing instructions based on your location and flight type.
Changes are often possible, especially with flexible operators. We will do our best to accommodate same-day schedule changes or re-routing, depending on air traffic and aircraft availability.
